Modern Love, 2017, stoneware
The Age of Connectivity. That's what they call it, anyway. Technology has us communicating now more than ever. Oh how we worship the machine. Fetishize it's creations. But is this how we love each other? Alone behind walls erected? Silos of echoes, new thoughts are rejected. But our skin goes untouched. Our mouths never open. No, we will not survive if we are not connected. Technology may open your blinds and find men new wives even lengthen our lives, but it will not save us. This modern love is empty.
